About Safe Falling

The safe falling & prevention class is a special program designed to teach the proper methods for safe falling by practicing rolling and going to the ground with control. This course is specially designed for senior citizens. No experience is required other than basic mobility.

 

Unexpected falls are a leading cause of injuries among the elderly and we will give you the skills to protect yourself in case of a fall. Whether it is in the home or on a sports field, knowing how to break fall means the difference between a major injury and a small bruise.

Curriculum

1: Getting up and off the ground

2: Backwards roll

3: Side roll

4: Forward roll

5: Strength and flexibility

Registration

Due to limited space you must register ahead of time. Payment for the class must be made before your registration is confirmed.
Step 1: Email safefallingjudo@gmail.com to register.

Step 2: Send $100 deposit via e-transfer to jaroszt@outlook.com

Step 3: Show up to class. No special gear is required. Wear comfortable loose fitting clothes.
